L’ Artisan du Chocolat started its activity in 2001
and has been incorporated in 2003 manufacturing
Fresh chocolate everyday in Silver Lake at 3364
West 1st. Street Los Angeles, CA 90004 where
previously was Picholine .

L’ Artisan du Chocolat is making its chocolate the
traditional French way using no preservatives and
less sugar. Aside our line of classic chocolates we
also develop an upscale and “avant-garde” collection    Whajung and Christian
with unique choice of flavors like Greek Kalamata
Olive, Bacon, Korean Garlic, Japanese Red Bean etc..

Whajung, Maitre Chocolatier, has been trained in Paris at the renown Ecole Superieure
de Cuisine Jean Ferrandi and has been working with some of the most qualified “Confiseur” and chocolate makers in Paris  like Alain Furet.

Christian, her husband and co-owner, who has a different background,  as International Banker, Financial Planner, Professor of Economics and Politics and Elected Mayor brings another set of knowledge to the company.

Our clientele is comprise of individuals, Hotels, Restaurant, Casino Resort like Sofitel Hotel, Westgate Hotel, Bellagio Casino Resort along with Wine Bars and Pastry shops.
We also supply Weddings, baby showers and Chocolate Tasting etc..

Over the years, numerous Celebrities from the Show business and Politic arenas alike have been lucky enough to appreciate the quality of our Hand Made, Fresh Artisan Chocolate.

L’ Artisan du Chocolat is the subject of dozens of articles in magazines and newspapers (i.d. Los Angeles Times, Washington Post etc…) and featured on Radio and TV shows.

L’ Artisan du Chocolat received  many Professional Awards at the International chocolate Show in San Francisco and at the Luxury Chocolate Salon in Los Angeles in 2007, totalizing 11 Awards ; 8 Gold Medal , 2 Silver Medal, 1 Bronze  including; “Top Artisan Chocolatier” Gold (2x), Best ingredient combination, Gold and Most Artistic design Gold etc..
